THEORY OF HOMOTOXICOSIS : DISEASE IS A MANIFESTATION OF A REACTION OF AN
ORGANISM EXPOSED TO DIFFERENT TOXINS.
“In 1955, the German physician Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg formulated the theory of homotoxicosis of the human organism. According to this theory, disease is the manifestation of a reaction of an organism exposed to different toxins. Dr. Reckeweg has defined 6 phases of homotoxicosis in the body. The first 3 are considered as tissue (reversible), the others as cellular (irreversible or difficult to reverse).
Thanks to the help provided by various means during the first 3 stages, the organism returns to a normal physiological regime of homeostasis. At the time of the transition to the following phases, the toxins that have accumulated in the tissues of the organs penetrate inside the cells to then destroy them, thus causing functional disorders. Then appear diseases such as cysts, fibroids, papillomas, adenomas, thrombophlebitis, tumors, etc., as well as fatty deposits and diseases related to deformation of the connective tissues of the organs. This manifests itself in the form of pathological processes: rheumatism, polyarthritis, during which uric acid, which results from poor assimilation of proteins by the body, accumulates in the joints and muscles. In the final stage of homotoxicosis of the organism, irreversible diseases develop, linked to the dedifferentiation of cells and organs, this when the anti-cancer defense ensuring the enzymatic capacity of the large intestine is equal to zero and when the pathological cells begin to form and develop unimpeded. Toxins accumulate in the body following a disorder of metabolism and the functioning of enzymatic systems, but also following the activity of different types of pathogenic micro-(viruses and bacteria) and macroorganisms (intestinal parasites, etc.) , as well as that of external factors, such as air and water pollution, food contamination, etc.
THE IMMUNE SYSTEM IS THE BODY'S MAIN DEFENSE SYSTEM
The immune system is able to identify and destroy pathogens. There are two forms of the body's immune response: the innate form and the acquired form. The innate system is composed primarily of cellular elements-phagocytes (neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils, tissue cells or mast cells) and killer cells.
Neutrophils have a very short lifespan, but they are extremely numerous. They act as triggers in the destruction of extracellular pathogens and their toxins and in the initiation of the inflammatory process. These cells are the main players in the acute phase of inflammation. While another group of cells derived from monocytes – macrophages, refers to long-lived cells. In addition to being professional phagocytes, they are antigen-presenting cells that mark the transition from the acute phase of inflammation to the chronic phase.
The objective of this study is to examine the effects of the Functional State Correctors №1 and №2 on innate immunity cells and salmonellosis bacteria Salmonella enteritidis.
Contact with Functional State Correctors was carried out separately with Salmonella enteritidis microorganisms after 30 and 60 min; their lifespan was determined using a specific dye – acridine orange. The fluorescence technique of the preparations according to the Bertalanffy method makes it possible, thanks to this dye, to carry out both a morphological and cytochemical study of the bacteria.
To assess the morphology of the bacteria, fluorescence microscopy of the preparations was carried out under the following fluorescence conditions: excitation wavelength: 430 nm, barrier filter: 515 nm. A primary culture of neutrophils and blood monocytes/macrophages was used as a model. A fraction of adherent cells was obtained from heparinized peripheral venous blood (10 U/ml).
Cells that had not undergone the effects of Functional State Correctors were used as controls. After exposure, the cells were air-dried and fixed in formalin vapor for 15 min.
According to the method used to detect the viability of bacteria stained with acridine orange, microorganisms containing intact DNA are stained green. The specificity of cytochemical staining with this dye on DNA is determined by the effect on nucleic acids of a specific enzyme: deoxyribonuclease. Under its influence, the DNA of the bacteria breaks up, the green luminescence disappears and a yellow luminescence appears, signaling the presence of the destroyed DNA in the bacterium.

RESULTS AND ARGUMENTS
The study of the bactericidal properties of the correctors showed that the Functional State Correctors №1 and №2 had a cytostatic action on the bacterium Salmonella enteritidis, i.e. they have the capacity to stop the cell division of these bacteria.
The most powerful effect was demonstrated under the action of Functional State Corrector №2 for 60 min. The amount of destroyed DNA bacteria not only increased, their morphology also changed. Under the effect of the Functional State Corrector №2, microorganisms of the bacilliform type (sch. 1a) transformed into microorganisms of the coccoid type (sch. 1c, 1d), which indicates their passage from a state of multiplication active in a spherical state, ie in a period of rest.
The study of the enzymatic activity of cells on bacteria, before exposure to phagocytes subjected to the effect of Functional State Correctors for 30 and 60 min, showed a marked difference (р<0.05) in stimulation indices.
It was determined that the Functional State Corrector №1 stimulated the enzymatic activity of innate immunity cells, in particular cell membrane exoenzymes after 30 minutes of application.
The analysis of the effect of the Functional State Corrector №2 revealed a stimulation of the phagocytes revealed by significant indices of enzymatic activity compared to the cells contaminated by Salmonella enteritidis.
The activity of neutrophils and macrophages has undoubtedly increased under the effect of the Functional State Corrector №2 (р<0.01)
In this way, our data characterize an accentuated bactericidal action on salmonella, moreover the Functional State Corrector №2 has a significant cytotoxic effect (stopping the division) compared to the Functional State Corrector №1.
In addition to what has been mentioned above, the comprehensive study of the enzymatic activity of cells with innate immunity has shown that the Functional State Correctors have a very marked stimulating effect on them. In addition, in the event of contamination of these cells by bacteria, a reinforced effect of the Functional State Correctors on the bactericidal activity of the phagocytes has been observed.
All that has been stated above highlights the prospects for the combined use of Functional State Correctors as an immunomodulatory agent used to improve the performance of the immune system as a whole and to increase the body's resistance to infectious enteric disease pathogens in particular. The increase in the activity of the cells of innate immunity leads to a reinforcement of their function to destroy not only the pathogenic agents, but also various degraded residues of the cells of the organism, and contributes, thanks to the Functional State Correctors of №1 and №2, to the detoxification of the organism”.
